Dear Esteemed Parent,
APPRECIATION
We thank God for his goodness to us throughout the 2nd term of the 2020/2021 session. To you our highly valued parents,
for your indefatigable supports at all times, in every way, our gratitude is immense. We pray for God’s unlimited blessings

External examination SSCE & NECO: The school has registered the SS3 students for the Senior Secondary School
Certificate Examination (SSCE) and National Examination Council.(NECO) There is an intensive preparation for the
examination taking place already in the school. We urge you to provide the necessary textbooks and learning aids that will
facilitate their studies. The examination that is supposed to start in March and end in May will now start in August and end
in September.
Junior Secondary Examination (JSCE): The registration for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is in
progress. The registration is mandatory for Year 9 students.
EXTENSION CLASSES
Extension classes begin on 19th of April till Thursday the 29th between 9:00am-1:00pm in preparation for BECE and SSCE.
RELEASE OF RESULTS: Students’ results will be ready by Tuesday 20th April 2021.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: During this 2nd term holiday, the school will be opened between 9:00 am – 2pm on daily basis;
from the 19th – 30th of April 2021.
HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENTS: The students have been given holiday assignments in all subjects on Google classroom.
Kindly ensure that they diligently do the assignments via Google Classroom.
CO-CURRICULAR.
We engaged our students actively this term in mental, social and entrepreneurial skills activities as well as mentoring.
MENTAL SKILLS’ ACTIVITIES.
Students did Mental Mathematics every Wednesday and Friday. Mental mathematics is a good way to nourish the brain for
academic success.
SOCIAL SKILLS
We engaged in both intra and inter-class social interactions to equip our students with enough social graces. We did speak
right, impromptu speech rapid questions and debate competitions.
MENTORING
Every student at CHRISTHILL COLLEGE has a mentor, through the mentoring session, we the teachers (also known as
their mentors) discover our students’ abilities and we help to develop them. Students with challenges in academics, moral
and personal issues have through the mentoring sessions received treatment that helped them to blend well
RESUMPTION FOR THIRD TERM
The school re-opens on 4th May 2021. We expect all our students to resume immediately as serious academic work starts in
earnest. There is no room for procrastination. Parents are hereby enjoined to co-operate with the school management in the
following areas:
SCHOOL FEES
We detest embarrassing our students on issues like school fees. Parent must cooperate by paying promptly to enable the
school to meet its obligations on staff salary and other developmental projects. Management may not allow students who
have not paid school fees to resume with us on 4th May 2021.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP ACTIVITIES
Our entrepreneurship activities will be very intensive next term
The following are the entrepreneurial skill activities:
Cobbling.
Pastry.
Detergents/Disinfectant making.
Beading.
Cosmetology.
Hairstyling and Barbing.
Interior decoration.
more skills will be added as time goes on
PARENT FORUM.
There is going to be a Parent Forum meeting next term, the date will be duly communicated.
SCHOOL UNIFORMS: Please note that the insistence of the school that students should wear specified uniforms on
specified days is to improve the school image and to train your wards towards good conformist tendency and in
compliance with laid down rules.
COMPLETE SCHOOL UNIFORMS: Students should dress up neatly in the complete uniform.
SENIOR BOYS: Trousers, shirt, tie, school customized socks and pure black shoes.
JUNIOR BOYS: Shorts, shirt, school customized socks and pure black shoes.
SENIOR GIRLS: Skirt, blouse, tie, school customized socks and pure black shoes.
JUNIOR GIRLS: Pinafore, blouse, tie, school customized socks and pure black shoes.
On Wednesday, students should dress in plain blue jeans (not stonewash or crazy jean), Orange T ’shirts and black AllStars.
On Thursday, students should come in a track suit, T’ Shirt of the House they belong to and white canvas and plain white
socks.
NAILS: Some students keep long nails. This is not healthy and safe in the school environment.
EARRINGS: The recommended earrings for girls is stud only.
HAIRSTYLE (GIRLS): The school allows the girls to either come in braids (to lasts for four weeks) or plait the prescribed
fortnightly hairstyle (a minimum of 12 pieces). The braids must be knotted neatly. Surprisingly, some girls come in neatly
in the morning, but after one or two periods of lessons, they undo the knots and flaunt the braids. Some come from their
homes looking very shabby in their hairstyles. This will no longer be tolerated. Anyone found wanting will be sent home
or quarantined. Note: No plaiting with thread or wool. Recommended hairstyle for resumption is “all-back” not less
than 12 pieces.
HAIRCUT (BOYS): Unconventional haircuts such as galaxy, afro, round cuts, carvings, etc. are not allowed in the school.
Boys should be on low cut.
SICKNESS/ILL HEALTH.
We appeal to parents to please keep all sick children at home especially those with illness es/diseases that
are highly infectious/contagious such as conjunctivitis, cough, cold, catarrh and so on. If such children
are brought to the school, they will not be allowed into the classrooms. We will appreciate your
cooperation.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The entrance examination into YEAR 7-11 for the 2021/2022 session is scheduled as follows:
1st Batch April 24th 2021.
2nd Batch May 22nd 2021.
3rd Batch June 26th 2021.
4th Batch July 31st 2021.
